Vegan Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients
- • 200 g dark chocolate (vegan), chopped
- • 400 ml coconut milk (full fat, chilled)
- • 2 tbsp maple syrup
- • 1 tsp vanilla extract
- • Pinch of salt
Instructions
- 1 Melt chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water. Let cool slightly.
- 2 Scoop solid part of chilled coconut milk into a mixing bowl (discard liquid).
- 3 Whip coconut cream until fluffy.
- 4 Fold in melted chocolate, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt.
- 5 Spoon into serving glasses, chill for at least 2 hours.
- 6 Garnish with berries or mint before serving.
Tips & Notes
• Make sure to use full-fat coconut milk and chill it overnight for best whipping results.
• Use high-quality vegan dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher) for the richest flavor.
• Don't overmix when folding in the chocolate to maintain the light, airy texture.
• Chill for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best texture and flavor development.
