Ingredients
- • 500g ground beef
- • 1 large onion, chopped
- • 2 cloves garlic, minced
- • 1 red bell pepper, diced
- • 1 can (400g) chopped tomatoes
- • 1 can (400g) kidney beans, drained
- • 2 tbsp tomato paste
- • 1 tsp ground cumin
- • 1 tsp smoked paprika
- • 1 tsp chili powder (adjust to taste)
- • 1 tbsp olive oil
- • Salt and pepper to taste
- • Fresh coriander (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- 1 Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
- 2 Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- 3 Stir in the bell pepper, cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- 4 Add the tomato paste, chopped tomatoes, and kidney beans. Mix well.
- 5 Simmer uncovered for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 6 Adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot, garnished with fresh coriander if desired.
